With our Kellerweis, we lessened the hop punch to bring you a lighter German-inspired artisan beer. Home to the oldest operating brewery in the world and almost half the breweries in the country, the Bavarian region of Germany is living hop history. Since 1516, their Bavarian Purity Law limits beer ingredients to hops, water, malt, and yeast. Our Kellerweis, a type of Hefeweizen beer, is inspired by their technique of brewing in open fermentation tanks. And it’s one of the only Hefeweizens in America brewed this way.
