Fifty years ago, a cast of Los Angeles beer lovers wanted real beer, so they made their own. They became the Maltose Falcons, America's Oldest Homebrewing Club. Some of those original members, before the club formed, sparked our founder Ken Grossman's fascination with homebrewing.
Raise this beer in honor of Merlin Elhardt, the mustachioed German founder of these American brewing pioneers. At 5.8% ABV, this Festbier balances biscuity malt and spicy hops, finishing clean with a touch of sweetness.
